2019 Columbus Day Holiday Instructions

Cash Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday October 14, 2019 for the Columbus Day Holiday. Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

First District

Boston

Please remember to place all orders prior to the Noon deadline. Orders placed by the order deadline on any weekday other than the holiday will be available for shipment on the following business day.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by the holiday and adjust your order dates accordingly.

Second District

New York

Orders placed before 1:00 p.m. ET on Friday, October 11, 2019 will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Orders placed after 1:00 p.m. ET on Friday, October 11, 2019 will be ready on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

Cash orders that would normally be picked up from the Federal Reserve Bank by your carrier on Monday, October 14, 2019, will need to be placed no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019. These orders will be available for carrier pick-up on Friday, October 11, 2019.
