2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday Instructions

Cash Holiday Instructions

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 for the Martin Luther King Day Holiday. Please refer to the instructions listed for your local office below.

First District

Boston

Please remember to place all orders prior to the Noon deadline. Orders placed by the order deadline on any weekday other than the holiday will be available for shipment on the following business day.

Please contact your armored carrier to determine how delivery will be affected by the holiday and adjust your order dates accordingly.


Second District

New York

Orders placed on Friday, January 18, 2019 before 1:00pm ET will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Orders placed on Friday, January 18, 2019 after 1:00pm ET will be available for armored carrier pickup from the Federal Reserve Bank on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

Third District

Philadelphia

Cash orders that would normally be picked up from the Federal Reserve Bank by your carrier on Monday January 21, 2019 will need to be placed no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019. These orders will be available for carrier pick-up on Friday, January 18, 2019.
