The FedPayments® Reporter Service for FedACH® Services now supports the ability to select multiple subscription delivery frequencies and/or formats for the same report. This change enables many automatically generated depository institution and customer-level reports to meet various business needs. For example, you can:

  • Schedule the same report on multiple frequencies (daily, weekly or monthly)
  • Use different advanced setup configuration options/formats for the same report
  • Distribute the additional reports to the same or different recipients

Adding report subscriptions

On the “Report Information” tab, select “Add Subscription” for any reports you wish to receive. Our new subscription options allow you more flexibility. For example, you can:

  • Set up two subscriptions for the ACH Return Item Report for specific reviews and audiences, like designating one report to show unauthorized returns specifically for the risk unit and designating a second report to show all returns for the operations staff
  • Configure the ACH Received Entries Detail Report on a daily frequency in a Microsoft® Excel® format for operations staff and on a monthly frequency in a comma-separated values (CSV) format for an IT area’s long-term storage
  • Subscribe to the ACH Return Reason Report on a daily frequency for operations staff and a monthly frequency for management/audit staff review

Additional benefits

The service recently increased – from 10 to 30 – the number of email addresses that can be assigned to any report. Also, FedPayments Reporter screens now include a convenient feature that enables downloading the report setup information into an Excel format. This feature allows you to:

  • Readily review the list of reports being generated for customers and identify actions to enhance service to other comparable customers
  • Easily identify reports that are being generated but not being distributed to help avoid this common initial setup mistake
