Mark your calendars — the Federal Reserve Banks will conduct a test on the Check 21 platform from 3 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 6, 2019, until 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 7, 2019. During testing, the Check 21 production environment will not be available, Check 21 Deposit Notifications will not be generated and in some instances, connectivity will not be available. Please be aware of the following limitations during testing:

  • Internet customers using FedLine Web® or SecureTransport/Axway® will not be able to connect and upload files to the Federal Reserve until after the testing period is complete.
  • FedLine Direct® /Connect:Direct® customers will not be able to send files to the Federal Reserve Banks’ landing zone. Files must be submitted after the testing activities are completed and production processing resumes.
  • Small Value Payment Company (SVPCO) customers will be able to send files to the SVPCO Distributed Traffic Agent (DTA), but "pulled" and "validated" messages will not be generated. Files will remain in queue on the DTA until the Federal Reserve Banks re-enable connections to the DTA and production processing resumes.

Please direct questions to FedACH® and Check Services Customer Support. Thank you for your patience as we conduct these important tests.
