When financial institutions submit check files to the Federal Reserve Banks, a deposit notification is sent as a confirmation. Notifications for check files are not only important to verify the files were received, but are also a way to track the status of the files.
The notifications are available under the Delivery History tab in the Check application within FedLine® Home. Financial institutions can also receive notifications via FedMail® if they are signed up for that delivery option.
Notifications provide details of the file processing status and information regarding error messages encountered during processing.
