Effective November 15, 2018, the Federal Reserve Banks are amending Operating Circular 5 (OC 5), Electronic Access, by adding an Appendix B for the E-Payments Routing Directory Service. This Appendix B sets forth new terms for accessing the E-Payments Routing Directory that is maintained by the Federal Reserve Banks and contains the routing information for the Fedwire® Funds Service, Fedwire Securities Service and FedACH® Services transactions.
Continued use of Federal Reserve Bank Services on or after November 15, 2018, constitutes agreement to these new terms. For this reason, it is important that you review the new Appendix B. Please visit our Operating Circulars page for the definitive text of revised OC 5.
As a reminder, the complete E-Payments Routing Directory data files on FRBservices.orgSM will no longer be publicly available after December 9, 2018. The individual Search Fedwire Participants and Search FedACH Participant RDFIs lookup, however, will remain. The same complete E-Payments Routing Directory data files are available to credentialed users via the FedLine Web® or FedLine Advantage® Solutions. Automated solutions to download the Directory are also available.
More information regarding the ways your financial institution and your corporate customers can retrieve the E-Payments Routing Directory data are available on our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page on FRBservices.org.
