The Federal Reserve Banks will implement a year-end freeze period for production Check Services changes. The freeze period will run from December 24, 2019 through January 3, 2020. This normal year-end freeze period supports year-end activities and 2019 changes.
Key dates to remember for the year-end freeze are:
- December 24, 2019: Last day for production Check implementations and changes (i.e., FedForward®, FedReturn®, FedReceipt® and PDF implementations, delivery/channel changes, settlement changes and Payor changes like reject repair, FedImage® archive, etc.)
- January 3, 2020: Window re-opens for production Check implementations and changes
Please note that customers will still be able to test during these production freeze windows. If you have questions, please contact FedACH® and Check Services Customer Support.
