Non-Electronic (Paper-Based) Check Adjustments Services

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is the central site for handling all paper adjustments cases, including foreign item-related requests, as well as adjustments-related correspondence. All financial institutions should direct all paper adjustments cases for data entry, along with all required documents-to-follow (DTFs) to the following address (US Mail, FedEX, UPS and other couriers):

Customers who submit paper-based check adjustments requests to the Federal Reserve can still take advantage of many of our Check 21-enabled Services available for use.
